About Us Swisher Memorial Healthcare System provides superior health care services to all of the patients we serve. Our 20 bed in-patient unit is fully staffed and offers acute medical care for patients of all ages. We provide Swing Bed services for patients requiring rehabilitation,IV therapy or other skilled services. Our Emergency Department is a certified LEVEL IV Trauma Center. We provide emergency services 24 hours a day seven days a week by physicians who are ATLS certified and nurses who are TNCC, ACLS and ENPC certified. Swisher Memorial Healthcare System also contracts with area hospice providers to provide hospice care within our facility on an as needed basis. The state of health care today is sometimes perceived as unpleasant and not very accommodating. At Swisher our goal is to prove to you that is not the case. We strive to provide you with the very best care we can. Sometimes when we require medical attention the actual experience is not pleasant. In most instances, visits to the hospital are not something to look forward to. Our goal is to provide excellent care in a nurturing manner so that in you will not dread the experience, but find comfort in your ability to heal at Swisher.
